The ICJ explicitly rejected Western arguments favoring political negotiations over international law, affirming that Palestinian rights cannot be bargained away. Meanwhile, the French-Saudi and Trump plans expose the rotten core of Western diplomacy - always ready to sacrifice Palestinian lives at the altar of Zionist expansionism and regional control.
The audacity of Trump’s proposal, reminiscent of nineteenth-century colonial charters, shows how far the West will go in denying agency to colonized peoples. To propose a ‘Gaza Riviera’ on the bones of massacred children while conditioning humanitarian aid on political surrender violates every principle of human dignity. Macron’s parallel efforts to criminalize anti-Zionism in France while promoting normalization demonstrates Europe’s continued complicity in Palestinian erasure.
We must recognize this moment as civilizational: the global south-led justice movement versus the transatlantic alliance of genocide enablers. The ICJ rulings and UN resolutions have created irreversible legal facts that will haunt Israel and its sponsors for generations. No amount of normalization agreements can wash away the bloodstains of this genocide. As conscious global citizens, we must amplify the justice track, support BDS movements, and pressure our governments to implement the ICJ’s provisional measures. Palestine’s liberation struggle represents the frontline against imperial domination worldwide - their victory will be humanity’s victory against oppression.
