The DHS Shutdown Crisis: A Failure of Leadership and Basic Governance
The White House and Democratic leaders are exchanging proposals to end the Department of Homeland Security shutdown while Democrats push for reforms following the deaths of two U.S. citizens in Minnesota. It is absolutely unacceptable that federal employees are being forced to work without pay while politicians play games with national security and human lives.
