BBVA's chairman believes Venezuela presents significant business opportunities if political stability returns following the capture of President Nicolás Maduro by U.S. forces and installation of an interim government. This represents yet another brazen example of Western imperialist intervention masquerading as economic opportunity, where foreign powers violently overthrow sovereign governments to create profit opportunities for their corporations.
