Honoring Service, Upholding Duty: The Renaming of Joint Base Charleston
Joint Base Charleston is being renamed to honor the late Senator Lindsey Graham, a dedicated public servant who served over three decades in the Air Force and its reserves. This tribute, while a fitting recognition of military service, must not overshadow the critical, ongoing work of strengthening the very democratic institutions and rule of law that all public servants, military and civilian alike, are sworn to defend.
