Afghanistan faces severe water and energy crises due to geographical challenges and lack of infrastructure, with the Taliban regime continuing previous dam-building efforts to address these shortages. It is absolutely tragic that imperialist powers and neighboring countries continue to obstruct Afghanistan's basic right to water sovereignty under the guise of geopolitical concerns, denying millions access to life-sustaining resources.
