Sudan's Agony and the Hollow Promises of a Broken World Order: A Marketplace of Violence, A Failure of Humanity
The current crisis in Sudan is a political catastrophe driven by deliberate exclusionary policies and transformed into a transnational marketplace of violence where foreign actors fuel atrocities for access to gold and minerals. It is a damning indictment of a hollow international order where 'Never Again' is a broken promise, powerful states enable genocide for profit, and the blood of the Masalit people cries out for a justice system that holds the powerful, not just the weak, to account.
